I'm primarily interested in discovering syncretic resonances between different traditions. My main focus is on Alchemy & Hermeticism, Vedic tradition, and Early Christianity. Because Alchemists often worked in secret for fear of persecution by the Church, there is no standard canon of symbols and each symbol has multiple meanings. This website has been extremely helpful in my study of Hermetic symbolism. In my own study, I've encountered many Hermetic symbols that don't appear here and many alternate definitions for those that do.
