The Seal of Rassilon is a symbol representing the power of the Time Lords, and of Gallifrey as a civilization, in Doctor Who.

The Seal was used as a symbol of identification, and was viewed with deep reverence. Time Lords displayed it prominently in places of great power. It was also said to be an ancient symbol used to ward off evil.

By some within the fandom, it is speculated to have the ability to subtly alter and influence the thoughts of the Gallifreyan people, and create loyalty to the social order.
