Feather Badge
This page is about the meaning, origin and characteristic of the symbol, emblem, seal, sign, logo or flag: Feather Badge.
One of eight signature items found in the third generation of the Pokémon franchise.
One of the greatest phenomena to ever appear on the world stage, the Japanese franchise Pokémon or “Pocket Monsters” has been a major player in entertainment ever since it first appeared in the 1990’s. Spanning nearly every popular media outlet- video games, trading cards, TV episodes and feature films- Pokémon has established a hold on modern society that is unlikely to abate anytime soon.
One of the most popular manifestations of this franchise has been the numerous video games that have been released since its inception. In the world of Pokémon, specifically those games set in the Hoenn Region, the Feather Badge is one of eight designated badges that players must earn as part of the overall story line. This badge is earned at the location in the game known as Fortree City, and to win it the player must defeat the Flying-type Pokémon that have been trained by the Fortree City gym leader. This information also applies to the depiction of Fortree City in the animated series and its place in the Hoenn Region story arc.
